I’m Žan Makovec, an entrepreneurship student and a coordinator of team performance and dynamics. Through my work, I help teams establish clarity in how they operate, strengthen communication, and create an environment where individuals can truly develop their potential — not just as individuals, but as part of a cohesive and aligned whole.
I’ve always been interested in why some ideas never come to life, while others evolve into something that truly works. What makes the difference between an idea and execution? At first, I searched for answers in the individual — in their knowledge, abilities, and discipline. But through experience, I began to notice a different pattern.
What truly works is not the result of an individual, but of a team that is aligned in both thinking and execution. The difference doesn’t happen at the level of the idea, but in execution — in how clearly roles are defined, how people communicate, and how much responsibility they are willing to take for a shared result.

My Story
My journey began with an interest in creativity, entrepreneurship, and human relationships. I’ve always been curious about how an idea becomes something tangible, executable, and meaningful — and how teams and systems are built to achieve excellence.
Understanding didn’t develop through theory alone.
Through practical experience — from high-level team sports, where I developed discipline, responsibility, and focus on a shared goal, to being part of a music group, where creativity and aligned communication are essential — and through involvement in international projects, I developed a strong sense for organization, coordination, and working under pressure.
Over time, I began to recognize a recurring pattern: teams don’t underperform because they lack potential, but because that potential is not properly directed, understood, or supported.
Each individual brings unique abilities and perspectives into a team. The difference is made when a team recognizes these strengths, connects them, and creates an environment where they can fully come to life — when individuals stop operating separately and start functioning as a unified whole.
In my work, I focus on developing team dynamics, clarity in communication, and understanding of roles within a team. Through a combination of structured approaches and practical workshops, I help teams improve collaboration and effectiveness.
It’s not just about better results.
It’s about people understanding their role, trusting one another, and creating an environment where they can achieve more together than they ever could alone.
