Multicultural Teams & Networking Consultant
I help teams build clarity, improve communication, and work as a more aligned and effective unit.
I’m Vadelma, a BBA student, student association board member, entrepreneur, and Erasmus+ ambassador for the academic year 2026–2027. Through my work, I help students, startups, and international teams build clear and practical ways to collaborate in multicultural environments where communication and teamwork feel natural, not forced.
Even before starting my studies, I was drawn to multicultural environments and how they can either strengthen a team or quietly break it down. Cultural backgrounds shape how we think, communicate, and work together - and when they’re not understood, even simple collaboration can become complicated.
At first, I believed that successful teamwork in international settings depended on being open-minded or socially skilled. But through experience, I started to see something else.
The real difference lies in structure. The teams that work well are not just diverse — they are clear in how they communicate, collaborate, and what they expect from each other. Without that clarity, misunderstandings grow quickly. With it, diversity becomes a real advantage.
That’s where my focus lies: helping teams create simple, realistic tools and structures that make working across cultures easier, more effective, and genuinely enjoyable.

Multicultural environments don’t work on their own - they work when we know how to structure them.

My Story
Growing Up Between Cultures
I believe the most impactful leaders are those who create environments where people feel trusted, valued, and confident enough to bring their authentic selves to the table.
Growing up between Venezuela, Mexico, and Finland, I experienced from an early age how culture shapes the way we communicate, collaborate, and lead. Speaking both Finnish and Spanish at home and navigating different cultures throughout my life taught me that diversity is far more than a background or a statistic—it is a strength that drives understanding, innovation, and meaningful human connection.

Discovering Leadership
For me, leadership has never been about titles.
It begins long before we enter the workplace. It starts with the parents who teach us our values, the teachers who challenge us to think differently, the coaches who encourage us to grow, and the communities that shape who we become.
As we move through life, we gradually become the leaders of our own journey—continuously learning, adapting, and choosing how we influence the people around us.
Learning the Power of Trust
My own perspective on leadership has been shaped by experiencing different leadership styles firsthand. Those experiences taught me that while structure provides direction, trust creates commitment.
The strongest leaders are not those who have all the answers, but those who empower others to contribute their own.
“While structure provides direction, trust creates commitment.”
Connecting Cultures
Through leadership training, international collaboration, and my Business Administration studies, I have explored how leadership and cultural diversity strengthen one another.
Participating in several Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes has allowed me to collaborate with people from different countries, disciplines, and perspectives.
Each experience has reinforced the same lesson: growth happens when we are willing to step outside our comfort zones and learn from one another.
Today
Today, I speak to students, young professionals, and organizations about leadership, cultural diversity, networking, and personal growth.
Whether discussing multicultural teamwork, international opportunities, or the future of leadership, my goal is always to create conversations that inspire people to think differently about themselves and the world around them.
I believe every culture has something valuable to contribute, and every person deserves to feel confident bringing that perspective into the room.
"My goal is to build trust, connect cultures, and help people lead with confidence."
